This alternative xmas fair is being held on SAT 16th DECEMBER at DISTRICT (61 Jordan St. Baltic Triangle, Liverpool, UK)

If you’re a weirdo – or are shopping for a weirdo – then you NEED to get your beautiful booty along here and checkout our wares!

You’ll be able to check out original artwork, plagerised artwork, prints, props, patches, and babies in glass tubes. We’ll have independent filmmakers selling their wares, alongside FX artists selling their body parts. Get your filthy mits on horror-themed xmas cards, horrific t-shirts, unpleasant badges and putrid pins. You’ll even be able to find horror movie memorabilia, indie horror books, underground zines, and terrifying comics books alongside their even more terrifying authors!

SATANIC SANTA
Ok, ok. so it’s almost christmas – I guess we have to acknowledge the festivities somehow. We’ll be playing host to S̶a̶t̶a̶n̶ ̶C̶l̶a̶w̶s̶ erm, sorry – I mean Santa Claus. He’ll be here. Santa, definitely not Satan. Old Nick himself will have a grotto decked out with bones, offal, severed limbs and fairy lights! If you can convince his delinquent Elf helpers that you’ve been a naughty girl or boy, then you might even get to pay the ol’ git a visit and get a terrible present!

FACEPAINTER with a difference…
If you fancy a horrific xmas make-over for the day, we’ll have Effie_Dahmer SFX artist on hand to change your look. But this’ll not be the usual butterflies & glitter that you get from regular facepainters – we’re talking scars, wounds, skullfaces, or good old zombification!

There’ll be music. The bar will be open. People will be laughing and children will be crying!

So come along, enjoy the hospitality, get to know your local horror community, and buy some amazing things that you will not see at any other market in our fair city! And most importantly, help us raise some much needed money for the Whitechapel Homeless Centre.

Merry Creepmas Motherfuckers!

in recent times, when ive been selling the various testtube babies, i havent been replenishing their stock levels.

most of my moulds are now defunkt, so it would take a herculean effort to remould them all, and get a decent amount of each cast, painted, prepped, boxed and everything else that goes along with such intricate little pieces of artwork. all-in-all this means that the testtube baby ranges wont be available to buy again in the immediate future.

i do still have 1 or 2 critters still hanging out here with me, but these last few items aren’t enough stock to justify the shop still being open for ‘business as usual‘ – so for now the webshop is closed.

moving forwards, i have a handful of personal projects im working on at the minute – miniature figures, board game prototypes, workshops, etc.  will share that stuff in due course, or you can check out my instagram [link] for updates.

im also doing a piece of artwork for robert lowe’s Dark Art Tarot project [link] which is currently on kickstarter – im painting the 3 of swords! so please have a look at that and consider pledging your hard earned cash to bring that project to life.

there’s now a whole bunch of stuff available to grab in the ol’ webshop. there’s a good selection of testtube babies, severed heads, and also the testtube display racks crafted by my own grarled hands.

granted, there is nothing new here that veterans of the site havent seen before – but this is the last batch of most of these critters for a while as the majority of their moulds are now kaput (and i have no idea when I’ll get round to making new ones).  so if there’s something missing from your collection then now is probably the time to fill that void.

it would be nice to clear through a lot of this to give me funds to invest in new projects. so ive dropped the price a wee bit: £20 per testtube baby.

im also putting a free worldwide shipping code on the site for spends of £40 or over. the coupon code to use at checkout is “COME TO BUTTHEAD”, and you have to say it in Butthead’s voice while you type it or it doesnt count! ;P

i see a lot of my lovely friends who use the ‪#‎vultureculture‬ hashtag having to explain that they’re not actually murderous unethical scoundrels.

i wish i could say the same about myself, but i have to be completely honest here: none of my specimens are obtained through official channels.

i trade heavily on the unseelie black market, ive made illegal deals & unholy pacts with nefarious individuals, and i reguarly bribe customs officers to turn a blind eye to things they’d rather not acknowledge anyway.

i’d love to make a living doing this honestly, but until we see a change in the law – to decriminalise the possession of unicorn ivory, or new regulations governing the sale of human/hybrid foetal DNAmaterial – then im gonna continue working outside the law.

one of my favourite aspects to this painting is not apparent from the above photos – i absolutely adore the way the paint runs and drips down the side of the canvas. so lovely!

we’ve just transferred my old blog ‘brainzzz or gtfo‘ over to this new site – so hopefully any searches that come up with the previous url should be redirected to their equivalent on this site.

however, there a few changes in format on this site which inevitably means that some things are no longer available [such as the 'plasterboard falls' story]. so, this would explain why you may have hit a ’404 error’ if you’ve been bounced from a search engine, or clicked an old link that hasn’t been cleaned up.
