sometimes we look out into the world and see something horrible unfolding.. i’m talking about the shift to the right wing – both here in britain with the brexit vote, and over in the states with the trump movement.

i wanted to speak up, maybe even do some art.. but i’ve always been reticent to get political with my work, and i also worried about upsetting some of my american friends who are republicans.

however. after the news (26july) regarding his stance on trans people in the military, i decided that i’d just heard too much of his bullshit and decided to do this project. so i apologise in advance if this offends any of my american friends, but i feel like there are major problems with his ethics and policies so will be adding my creative voice against his ideas in my own small way.

although rather than comment on that issue (trans people in the military), i felt that i was better able to comment on a previous problem which bothered me greatly: resolution 43. this is the bill which removed government funding from the planned parenthood clinics.

so. in true zombieking fashion – i made a foetus…

this is ” aborto trump: specimen HJres43 ”

i’ve had this idea to do a trump-foetus thing ever since the HJres43 bill. creating a hideous aborted version of a trump-like foetus [especially given his views on planned parenthood] seemed like a perfect juxtaposition of concepts.

and to capitalise on the fact that i’m using this guy’s horrible likeness – then i will use some of that money to support a cause he does not believe in. proactive karma in action

so for every one i sell, i will donate $5 to planned parenthood US [these guys].

also. one of my friends MikeysArtBiz [link] made a Trump-inspired pin a little while ago. when i told him what i was doing he loved the idea and has given me a bunch of pins to bundle along with my aborto-trump. if you buy a pin too – he will donate EVERY penny of that to planned parenthood.

so here’s the deal: the foetus is £17.50, and adding the pin is an extra £5 for a total of £22.50

i will be donating money specifically to Iowa & Texas clinics, as they seem to have been worst hit by changes in government policy in recent times.

virtually all of my moulds are worn out. I do still have all the original sculpts, but it’ll likely be a good while before I get any of these remoulded and back into production. I fully intend to re-release this testtube baby range in the future (as well as other new specimens I’ve been working on) but projects pile up and workflow gets disrupted so I make no promises about when this might happen! .

there’s now a whole bunch of stuff available to grab in the ol’ webshop. there’s a good selection of testtube babies, severed heads, and also the testtube display racks crafted by my own grarled hands.

granted, there is nothing new here that veterans of the site havent seen before – but this is the last batch of most of these critters for a while as the majority of their moulds are now kaput (and i have no idea when I’ll get round to making new ones).  so if there’s something missing from your collection then now is probably the time to fill that void.

^^that’s wasn’t a joke, just a bit of factual information for you. well, i say ‘factual’ but infact it is quite subjective.. apparently no everyone thinks dismember unborn children are quite as adorable as i do. weird, huh?

sometimes that specimens i get into stock are just not a high enough quality to sell on the site, so i still endeavour to use the remains however i can. and while most of the tiny bodyparts make delicious crunchy snack – i do find skulls to be a little too hard to eat. so i snip the heads off the little blighters and put them in testtubes.

first to join the ranks, was this fella – the frankenfoetus!  ok, so it is a human foetus – but it has striking physical differences to what you’d expect to see in a normal human foetus of only 13 weeks gestation!

also, are a batch of squidlings. they are as yet unidentified member of the cephalopod family…

and the most recent additions are these goat-like creatures…

there is the satyr, reminiscent of the woodland god Pan

and there is the devilgoat – bearing a striking similarity to Baphomet himself

the resemblance of these goat-like species to one another is uncanny. but the are from such distinct cultural backgrounds and time frames that their lineage has clearly separated many generations previously.
